During her visit to Lviv on 9 May, European diplomat Kaja Kallas said that the European Union is considering contingency plans if Hungary blocks Ukraine's accession to the EU.

According to her, Brussels is negotiating with Budapest to avoid a veto. However, if the Hungarian side refuses to compromise, the EU is ready to implement plan B and plan C, reports «Evropeiska pravda».

«We are already working on an alternative solution, but we are not disclosing details yet,» Kaja Kallas said.
