«A long conversation about the possibilities of achieving peace»: Zelenskyy just spoke on the phone with Trump

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump.

The President of Ukraine wrote about it on his official social media page.

«Just spoke with Donald Trump. We had a long conversation. About the possibilities of achieving peace. About our readiness to work together at the team level. We talked about our technological capabilities, including drones and other modern production. I am grateful to President Trump for his interest in what we can do together», Zelenskyy wrote.

According to him, they also discussed a conversation with Scott Bessent and the preparation of a new agreement on security and economic and resource cooperation.

«President Trump briefed me on the details of his conversation with Putin. Ukraine wants peace more than anyone else. We are defining our joint steps with America to stop Russian aggression and guarantee a reliable, lasting peace. As President Trump said, let's get it done. We agreed on further contacts and meetings», the President of Ukraine added.

As a reminder, today US President Donald Trump had a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. In particular, they discussed Ukraine and the Middle East and agreed that the war must be stopped.

As a reminder, the United States of America is engaged in constructive negotiations on a full-scale war with Ukraine and the Russian Federation.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he was ready to sit down with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin for peace, despite his hostile attitude.
