The United States of America is engaged in constructive negotiations on a full-scale war with Ukraine and the Russian Federation.

This was stated by White House President Donald Trump during a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

«We are having very good talks, very constructive talks on Ukraine. And we're in talks with the Russian and Ukrainian leadership,» said Donald Trump.

In particular, he expressed hope that agreements would be reached as soon as possible.

It should be noted that when asked by a journalist whether Donald Trump would demand that Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin leave the territory of Ukraine, which is currently under occupation, the American president did not answer.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that negotiations between the United States and Russia to end the war without Kyiv's participation pose a threat to everyone.

In addition, Donald Trump indicated that his administration had already held discussions with Moscow, but did not specify who participated in such a dialogue.

However, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he was ready to «allocate people» to negotiate with Ukraine to end the war. At the same time, he called any such talks «illegitimate».

As a reminder, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he was ready to sit down with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin for peace, despite his hostile attitude.
