The Ministry of Defense, with the support of the German government, signed a contract with the ICEYE company, which specializes in the field of SAR satellites. Now the military will have access to high-precision space images

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

According to Defense Minister Rustem Umierov, this is a strategically important contract for the Ministry of Defense.

He noted that thanks to this contract, the Ukrainian military will have access to high-precision space images with full coverage of the combat area. The command will be able to independently determine priority surveillance areas and quickly receive up-to-date data through the ICEYE satellite system.

According to the minister, this agreement was made possible thanks to the support of the German government and the Rheinmetall concern, which was a party to the contract.

«I am grateful to our partners for their support and trust. By introducing advanced space intelligence technologies, we are creating a technological advantage that increases combat capability and protects our military,» he is confident.

We will remind that Iran successfully launched its Sorayya satellite into orbit.
