The Russian army attacked Odesa region with drones: Kiper asks the US for additional air defense equipment

On the night of October 3, the Russian army attacked Odesa region with attack drones. There were no deaths or injuries.

This was announced by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.

One of the Shahed drones fell on the territory of the cemetery in the Berezivka district. Another one damaged power lines when it fell.

As of now, more than two thousand subscribers in the Berezivka district remain without electricity supply. Energy workers have been working non-stop since night and have already healed more than three thousand subscribers.

The head of Odesa RMA Oleh Kiper held an online meeting with the co-chairman of the international working group on sanctions against the Russian Federation, Michael McFaul. He asked him for help with additional air defenses to protect Odesa.

«He emphasized the need for further provision of additional anti-aircraft defense equipment for the protection of Odesa. I also asked Michael McFaul for support in establishing relations between the Odesa region and the US states, in particular California,» says Oleh Kiper.

It is worth noting that the Russian army attacks the Odesa region almost every day. On the night of October 2, the Russians hit the port and border infrastructure of the Izmail district of the region with Shaheds. Then two truck drivers were injured. One of them is a citizen of Turkey. Currently, the injured are in a moderate condition in the hospital.
