On Sunday, June 2, a rally of native prisoners of war was held in Mykolaiv. Among the demonstrators are the wives, children and mothers of Mykolaiv POW marines.

This was reported by the correspondent of NikVesti.

Protesters gathered in front of the «Azovstal» stele in the center of Mykolaiv. The purpose of the rally is to remind the world about the prisoners of war who have been in Russian captivity for more than two years.

«Unfortunately, there are very few marines in exchanges, the aggressor country for some reason does not want to give up our guys, the coordination headquarters is working, everyone is working on the release of our guys, but we see that very few marines are returning from captivity, so we gather at such actions, to unite our society and show that each of our people is important to us. We want to bring everyone home, we want to find all the missing people, and with our actions we want to show the world that it hurts us, that this topic is very important and that we need help,» said the wife of one of the defenders of Mariupol, a soldier of the 36th Marine Brigade Olena.
