Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, 537 children have died, and more than 1,200 have been injured

As of the end of March, as a result of Russia's armed aggression in Ukraine, 537 children were killed, and another 1,273 children were injured of various degrees of severity.

This is reported by the General Prosecutor's Office.

It is specified that children were most affected in the following regions:

  • Donetsk — 524,
  • Kharkiv — 343,
  • Kherson — 149,
  • Kyiv — 130,
  • Dnipropetrovsk — 125,
  • Mykolaiv — 103,
  • Zaporizhzhia — 100.

In particular, four children were injured in the past two days. So, on March 28, a 5-year-old girl was injured due to enemy shelling in Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk region. On March 29, as a result of a Russian missile attack on Odesa, three children aged 10, 12, and 15 were injured.

We will remind that almost 5 thousand children living in Mykolaiv Oblast received the status of war victims.
