This was announced by the head of the public relations service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Illia Yevlash, on the air of the telethon.
«The Air Force worked out a pretty good target today, we don't have such targets very often, but we still managed to shoot down one of the most expensive unmanned attack aircraft of the Forpost type.» This is a Russian UAV, its cost is approximately seven million dollars. It was shot down by the Odessa anti-aircraft missile brigade over the Black Sea,» said Illia Yevlash.
He clarified that the drone can carry various combat loads and perform combat missions along the contact line for a long time.
Recently, the fighters of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed two reconnaissance drones of the Russian troops in the sky above the Odesa region.
It will be recalled that ten Ukrainian pilots have already completed the basic flight training course on F-16 fighters.
Earlier it was reported that the President of Romania agreed to the training of Ukrainian F-16 pilots in the country.
