On the night of May 19, the Russians launched 37 Shahed-136/131 attack drones over Ukraine. The Ukrainian military managed to destroy all the drones.
This was announced by the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Mykola Oleschuk.
He noted that the occupiers released 37 Shaheds from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk regions in Russia.
As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, the air defense forces destroyed all 37 drones within Kyiv, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy and Kherson regions.
Anti-aircraft missile and electronic warfare units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack.
We will remind, during the day of May 18, the Russian occupying forces fired another round of fire on the territory of the Mykolaiv region.
