The Security Service detained a woman who is suspected of orchestrating rocket-bomb attacks on Kharkiv. She turned out to be a 55-year-old local resident who worked as a security guard.

This is reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.

According to the intelligence service, the woman tried to establish and transfer to the Russian Federation data on the places of the greatest concentration of personnel and military equipment of the defenders of Kharkiv. It also collected information about the consequences of Russian airstrikes.

To obtain intelligence, the woman traveled around the city and secretly collected data during everyday conversations with acquaintances. She sent the received information to the Russian Telegram channel.

«The Russians used this to prepare new and adjusted repeated strikes on Kharkiv, using missile weapons and guided aerial bombs,» the press service added.

SSU employees identified the woman and detained her. A mobile phone, which she used to communicate with the occupiers, was taken from her.

According to the investigation, the traitor appeared on the enemy's Telegram channel and offered her help in the war against Ukraine.

SBU investigators informed her of suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: part 2 of article 111 (treason committed under martial law), part 1 and part 3 of article 436-2 (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants). The perpetrator is currently in custody. She faces life imprisonment.

We will remind how the operation to save a 77-year-old man who was buried under the rubble of his own house as a result of a Russian strike lasted about an hour in Kharkiv. However, the man died in the hospital.
