This was announced by the commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleschuk in his Telegram channel.
«On the night of August 1, 2024, the enemy hit Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Voronezh region (RF) and Crimea, as well as Shahed-type attack UAVs from the direction of Cape Chauda (Crimea), Kursk (RF),» it says in the message.
It is noted that the military shot down 7 attack UAVs within Kyiv, Poltava, Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
