During the shelling of the Sumy region border on April 8, Russians damaged the fire and rescue unit.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service.

As a result of another enemy artillery strike on one of the border settlements of the Sumy district, the premises of the local fire and rescue unit were damaged.

During the strike, rescuers were in shelter, no one was injured.

The cladding of walls, gates, and fire trucks were damaged by the shock wave and fragments.

Recall that on the night of April 4, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with several waves of drones. As a result of the attack, at least four people were killed, more than 10 were injured. Among the dead were three rescuers.
