National Guard fighters repelled an enemy attack in southern Ukraine, stopping two convoys of Russian vehicles.

This was announced by the commander of the National Guard of Ukraine Oleksandr Pivnenko in Telegram.

He emphasized that the aerial scouts were the first to notice two columns of enemy vehicles moving towards the positions of the Ukrainian troops.

«First of all, the occupier was met with accurate artillery shots, forcing the enemy to almost completely reduce the pace of the attack. At this time, the pilots of the strike drones are taking the drones into the air,» said Oleksandr Pivnenko.

As a result of combat work, two units of enemy equipment were hit by the pilots of strike aircraft complexes, two more units were destroyed with the help of artillery.

«The entire personnel of the enemy was liquidated. The attack has been stopped,» the message reads.

Earlier it was reported that three Russian soldiers blew themselves up on their own landmine in the Belhorod region of the Russian Federation.

It is noted that the incident took place in the area of the village of Novstroivka-Druha in the Belhorod region. This settlement is located near the border with the Kharkiv region.
