A Russian missile flew into the territory of Poland during an attack on Ukraine.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Poland.

According to the Polish military, the object entered Polish territory near the city of Oserdów (Lublin Voivodeship) and stayed there for 39 seconds.

«On March 24, at 4:23 a.m., Polish airspace was violated by one of the cruise missiles launched that night by long-range aviation of the Russian Federation. The targets of the strikes were cities in the west of Ukraine,» the report says.

The command added that all the necessary procedures to ensure the safety of Polish airspace were activated at night. In particular, Polish and allied aircraft were taken into the air.

«The Polish Army continuously monitors the situation on Ukrainian territory and is on constant alert to ensure the safety of Polish airspace,» the command said.

We will remind you that on March 23, Russian troops launched four missile strikes on the territory of the Mykolaiv region. There are no injured or dead.

It is also noted that on the night of March 24, the forces and means of air defense destroyed three Russian unmanned aerial vehicles of the Shahed-136/131 type in the Mykolaiv region.
