The director of one of the private enterprises in Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv Oblast, was informed of the suspicion of misappropriation of budget funds by abuse of official position, committed repeatedly under martial law.

This was reported in the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the investigation, in 2023, a contract was concluded between the enterprise and the education department of the Vradiivka settlement council of the Pervomaisk district for the ongoing renovation of the premises of Lyceum №2 in Pervomaisk.

According to the prosecutor's office, the director of a private enterprise deliberately overestimated the scope and cost of work in the documents.

Thus, on the basis of unreliable documents, more than 117 thousand hryvnias were unjustifiably transferred from the budget to the company's account, added the prosecutor's office.

We will remind you that the former chief accountant of the executive committee of the Pervomaisk City Council was sentenced to 6 years in prison for misappropriation of budget funds. It was proven at the court hearing that in the period from February 2020 to August 2022, the woman made known false documents, according to which she accrued and illegally received on her own account a salary significantly higher than the established salary, for a total amount of almost 127 thousand hryvnias.

In May 2023, the chief accountant of the administration of the Pervomaisk City Council was sentenced to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property, which, according to the same scheme, seized budget funds in the amount of almost 8 million hryvnias.
