Russia attacks Kherson region: 11 people wounded, including medics and police officer

Yesterday, the Russian army shelled 36 settlements in the Kherson region. Eleven people were injured, including medical workers and a police officer.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
Russian troops used artillery, aircraft and drones, hitting residential buildings, vehicles and infrastructure, the National Police of Kherson region said.
A shell hit a private house in Mykilske. A 55-year-old woman was wounded.
On the road near Klapaia, Russians attacked a car with an FPV drone. Two medics were wounded — a 47-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman.
In Antonivka, a Russian drone dropped explosives on a 59-year-old man. He was hospitalised with serious injuries. The village was also hit by unguided aerial missiles.
A 51-year-old man was attacked by a drone in Kherson. He received shrapnel wounds.
In the evening, a Russian attack drone hit a multi-storey building in the «Pivnichnyi» neighbourhood. The apartments in the building and another high-rise next door were heavily damaged. Four people were injured: two women aged 63 and 65, a 33-year-old man and a 34-year-old police officer. They all sustained blast injuries and wounds.
In total, the shelling damaged three multi-storey buildings and five private houses, a critical infrastructure facility, a police car, several civilian cars and a motorbike.
As a reminder, between 18 and 24 August , Russian troops attacked the Kherson region with 1964 drones. Ukrainian forces destroyed 77% of all the drones launched.
