Late in the evening on 1 July, Russian troops shelled a hospital in Kherson. Eight people were injured in the attack — five patients and three medical workers.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
One of the nurses, a 44-year-old woman, sustained an explosive injury, contusion and a shrapnel wound to her chest and was hospitalised. Two other workers, aged 54 and 44, are being treated on an outpatient basis.
Four patients — two men (58 and 60 years old) and two women (64 and 57 years old) — remain in hospital with blast injuries, contusions and shrapnel wounds. One more victim, a 69-year-old woman, refused hospitalisation after being treated. Ten people were injured.

In addition, during the day, Russians also attacked residential areas of the region and infrastructure facilities. A multi-storey building, 11 private houses, a farm, an enterprise, a bus and several cars were damaged, the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported.
As a reminder, Russian troops also attacked Mykolaiv region yesterday. A man was killed in one of the villages as a result of the shelling. Several private houses, a school, a kindergarten and a power line were also damaged.
