Night attack on Odesa: drones hit houses, one dead, 13 injured

On the night of 20 June, the Russian army massively attacked Odesa with attack drones.
According to the State Emergency Service, more than 10 hits were recorded, resulting in large-scale fires.
A 4-storey residential building was completely engulfed in flames. Firefighters managed to rescue three people and evacuated six others. While extinguishing the fire, structures collapsed on the rescuers, injuring three firefighters. They are in hospital in stable condition.
The fire also damaged a 23-storey building - the 18th, 19th and 20th floors caught fire. 600 residents were evacuated from the building. Three people were rescued from one of the blocked apartments, including two children.
In addition, five other residential buildings and three cars burned down. The State Emergency Service set up an indestructibility point at the site of one of the destroyed buildings.
According to residents, one more person may be trapped under the rubble. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
A total of 13 people were injured in the night attack, including three rescuers.
Later, the Prosecutor General's Office reported that one person was killed in the Russian attack, and 14 others sustained injuries of varying severity.
They also added that Russian troops had used at least 10 UAVs during the night attack on Odesa.
As reported, on the night of 17 June, Russian troops attacked Odesa with attack drones. The strike damaged residential buildings, an inclusive centre, a children's institution, garages and several cars. Fires broke out in the city.
Later, it became known that emergency rescue operations had been completed in Odesa, with 2 people killed and 17 others injured.
