Special operation «Pavutyna»: SSU strikes over 40 Russian aircraft

The special operation «Pavutyna», as a result of which the Security Service of Ukraine hit 41 Russian strategic aviation aircraft, had been prepared for more than a year and a half.

This was reported on Sunday, 1 June, by NV's sources in the special services.

According to them, the operation was extremely complex from a logistical point of view. First, the SSU sent FPV drones to Russia, and then mobile wooden houses.

Later, on the territory of Russia, the drones were hidden under the roofs of the houses, which were already placed on trucks. At the right time, the roofs were remotely opened, and the drones flew to attack Russian bombers.

Sources in the SSU emphasise that the people involved in this historic special operation have been in Ukraine for a long time. Therefore, if Vladimir Putin's regime detains someone for show, it will be another staging for the domestic audience.

For example, on 1 June, Russian Telegram channels reported explosions in the Olenegorsk district of the Murmansk region. Near this area is the Olenia airbase, which houses strategic bombers used for attacks on the territory of Ukraine.

Later, NV's sources in the special services reported that the Security Service of Ukraine was conducting a large-scale special operation to destroy enemy bombers in the Russian rear. SSU drones have hit more than 40 aircraft that attack Ukrainian cities every night. According to the sources, the affected aircraft include A-50, Tu-95 and Tu-22 M3.

Earlier, the head of the Security Service of Ukraine said that an assassination attempt was planned against Kyrylo Budanov and him in 2024.
