Ukraine after night attack: dead, damaged homes and businesses in regions

On the night of 25 May, Russian troops attacked Ukraine. Homes and businesses were damaged. People were killed in Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
Zhytomyr region
In Zhytomyr region, three children were killed and 12 injured in an enemy attack.
According to the State Emergency Service, the dead children were 8, 12 and 17 years old, and the body of one was unblocked by rescuers. In total, ten people were injured, all of them hospitalised. Private houses were destroyed and damaged.
Kyiv region and Kyiv
According to the State Emergency Service, four people were killed and 16 injured, including 3 children, as a result of a massive night attack. The Kyiv regional military administration added that the Russian attack affected Brovary, Bila Tserkva, Bucha and Obukhiv districts of the region.
Two people died while extinguishing a fire in Obukhiv district. Another person was killed in Bucha district. In Fastiv district, one person died and 8 were injured.
There are also 10 reported injuries. In Bila Tserkva district, a 59-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds to the face. Five people were also injured there, including two children. Two more people were injured in Bucha district.
In the city of Kyiv, 11 people aged 18 to 62 have been reported injured. In the Holosiivskyi district, a dormitory was damaged and a fire broke out, which has already been extinguished. In addition, fragments of drones fell in several other places.
In Dniprovskyi district, the second floor of a private house was destroyed. A business centre was damaged in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
Mykolaiv region and Mykolaiv
At night, Russian troops attacked Mykolaiv. A five-storey building in the Zavodskyi district of Mykolaiv was hit. People were trapped under the rubble. Rescuers managed to unblock the body of a man at 6am. In the morning, five people were reported injured, including one teenager. Rescuers evacuated two women using ladder trucks.
In Mykolaiv region, an attack damaged an agricultural warehouse, five combines and a caterpillar tractor. No one was injured.
Khmelnytskyi region.
According to rescuers, the attack damaged civilian infrastructure, killing and injuring people.
According to preliminary data, four people were killed. Five people received shrapnel wounds, they are currently in hospital, one person is in serious condition.
Six private houses were destroyed, more than 20 others were damaged. The information is being updated. Rescuers are working at the scene - 6 vehicles and 38 specialists have been deployed to eliminate the consequences of the shelling.
Ternopil.
The enemy attacked an industrial facility in the Ternopil region, causing a fire. The fire was later contained, and efforts to fully eliminate it are still underway.
According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or injuries.
Sumy region.
At night, Russian troops attacked an industrial enterprise in Sumy twice with attack drones. The workers took cover in time, so no one was injured. The RMA reminded that this was the second attack on this food industry facility — the previous one was in April.
Konotop also came under enemy fire. Mayor Artem Semenykhin called the attack the most massive and combined one ever. The strikes destroyed an infrastructure facility in one of the neighbourhoods, and some streets were partially cut off from electricity. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties or injuries.
Kharkiv.
An office building was hit in the Shevchenkivskyi district as a result of the attack. Glass in several apartment buildings was damaged.
Three people were injured. One of them was injured by glass shards, said Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
Dnipropetrovsk region.
According to the RMA, five drones and 11 missiles launched by the Russian army were shot down over the region. Several districts and the city of Dnipro were affected, with industrial facilities, residential buildings and infrastructure damaged. There is no information on casualties.
Odesa region.
In Odesa region, rescuers quickly extinguished a fire that started after an enemy attack.
The fire engulfed 20 cars in a car park among high-rise buildings. The fire was contained and prevented from spreading to other vehicles.
