Russia launches missile attack on Sumy: 31 people killed

Russia has launched a missile attack on Sumy. As of 14:10, 32 people were killed and 84 others were injured.
According to the acting mayor, Artem Kobzar, there are many dead as a result of the attack.
«There are many dead today as a result of a missile strike... The enemy has struck again at civilians,» he wrote.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the Russian ballistic missile strike on Sumy.
«According to preliminary data, there are dozens of dead and wounded civilians. Only bastards can do this. Taking lives of ordinary people. My condolences to the families and friends. The rescue operation is underway. All the necessary services are working,» he wrote.
In turn, the press service of the Sumy City Council reported that Russia had attacked the city's civilian infrastructure.
«From the first minutes, rescuers and police arrived at the scene. There were many victims. According to preliminary data, 21 people have been killed and at least 20 more injured at this moment. People were injured right in the middle of the street, in cars, public transport, in houses,» said the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.
According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as of now, 31 people have been killed in Sumy.
«There are two children among the dead. My condolences to the families and friends. More than 80 people were injured, including ten children. Everyone is being provided with the necessary assistance,» Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
As of 14:10, 32 people were killed in Sumy, including two children.
«84 people were injured, including 10 children. Emergency and rescue operations continue», the press service of the Sumy Regional State Emergency Service reports.
Strike on Mykolaiv on 10 April
The first explosions in the city occurred at around 02:45, when Russians attacked Mykolaiv with drones. During the attack, fires broke out in two districts of the city. Ten people were injured, two of whom were hospitalised, while others received outpatient care. According to the authorities, 9 apartment buildings and an administrative building were damaged. In total, the blast damaged about 300 apartments.
Law enforcement officials opened a criminal investigation into the nighttime shelling of Mykolaiv.
In addition, on 10 April, the air defence forces destroyed 28 drones over Mykolaiv region «Shahed 131/136».
