Russians attacked Odesa region: destroyed houses, damaged power grid

On the evening of 6 March, Russian troops massively attacked Odesa region with Shahed-136 attack drones. As a result of the shelling, three private houses caught fire in the suburbs of Odesa and critical infrastructure was damaged.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper.

According to preliminary information, there were no casualties, the Odesa Oblast State Emergency Service said. More than 30 rescuers and eight pieces of equipment were working at the scene.

In addition, the attack damaged and destroyed at least 10 private houses, outbuildings, a gas pipeline and transport. More than 2,500 local residents were left without electricity.

On the night of 7 March, Russians launched another missile attack on Odesa region. In Podilskyi district, 16 private houses were damaged.

Investigative actions are underway, and law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of the attack, the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office said.
