This was reported at a briefing by Lieutenant Pavlo Drohal, spokesman for the «Kherson» operational and tactical group.
According to him, Russian troops attempted to storm the positions of the Ukrainian military on the left bank of the Dnipro River seven times, but all attacks were repelled.
«The enemy keeps trying to force Ukrainian defenders from the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, last week, the occupiers tried to storm our positions seven times. All attempts were repelled by Ukrainian defenders», he said.
In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 68 units of weapons and military equipment of the Russian army over the past week. In addition, 1951 Russian drones were spotted over the week, of which 1521 were destroyed.
As a reminder, over the past day, Russian troops fired at 25 settlements in Kherson region using various types of weapons.
