«For the destruction of people»: the Sumy RMA stated that the Shaheds were equipped with shrapnel

On the morning of November 22, Russian troops attacked Sumy with three kamikaze drones equipped with shrapnel.

This was reported by the head of RMA, Volodymyr Artiukh, in a comment to Suspilne.

«Shaheds, which were used to attack Sumy, were equipped with shrapnel. These weapons are used to destroy people, not objects. This is the first time in Sumy,» he said.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, rescuers unblocked two victims from the destroyed building and handed them over to medics. Also, as a result of the Russian attack, 12 high-rise and five private residential buildings, a shop and three cars were damaged.

Search and rescue and emergency recovery operations are currently underway.

We will remind that the Russians hit Sumy with Shaheds in the morning of November 22. Four explosions were heard in the city. Two dead and 12 injured people are known.
