Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi said that provocations have been taking place in the city since the beginning of the week. Unknown people smashed a cafe in the city center, set fire to 8 objects at the same time and are sending anonymous messages about future terrorist attacks.

He announced this in his Telegram channel.

«The week began with the fact that intruders smashed one of the city's central cafes. Tonight, unknown persons set fire to 8 objects in the city at once, among them the building of the «Dzvin» cinema. Later, anonymous telegram channels began to spread information with threats about terrorist attacks. At the moment, no one can say for sure whether it is psychological operations or real threats,» the official wrote.

According to the mayor, law enforcement officers will carry out security measures in all schools of Lviv today, and in the morning there will be police officers at the entrance of each school for inspection. He also urged citizens to read information only on official channels, and not in anonymous Telegram chats.

«Tomorrow morning, at the entrance to each school, a police officer and a school representative will check everyone who enters. Only the police, school staff and students can enter the school. As soon as more information appears, it will be published on official pages, and not in anonymous channels!», Andrii Sadovyi said.
