Mykolaiv agrarians receive state aid to restore farms in the frontline zone

The state has paid more than two billion hryvnias in support to Ukrainian agricultural producers, including farms in Mykolaiv region that operate in the frontline and de-occupied territories.

It is noted that more than 3.1 thousand farms that cultivate up to 120 hectares of land in the de-occupied territories received eight thousand hryvnias of assistance per hectare. A total of 795.75 hryvnias million has been allocated for this purpose, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reported.

In particular, these are farmers from certain districts of Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Dnipro, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions.

At the same time, the payment of 1,000 hryvnias per hectare of land for farmers working in areas of potential hostilities and 2,000 hryvnias per hectare for those working in the areas of hostilities has been completed. In total, 2.3 thousand farmers and agricultural producers received 1.5 billion hryvnias.

We remind you that a programme to support farmers whose land was damaged by hostilities and mines has been launched in Mykolaiv Oblast.

The programme is open to farmers who cultivate between 3 and 300 hectares in the following communities: Bashtanka, Bereznehuvate, Volodymyrivka, Halytsynove, Horokhivka, Inhulka, Pervomaisk, Snihurivka, Shevchenkove and Shyroke. Applications can be submitted to the State Agrarian Register until 26 January 2025.
