By the end of the year, it is planned to launch a map of humanitarian aid in Mykolaiv, - Sienkevych

By the end of the current year, at the latest in January 2024, the register (map) of humanitarian aid that the city has received from donors since the beginning of the full-scale war will be operational in Mykolaiv.

The mayor of the city, Oleksandr Sienkevych, told about this, the correspondent of «NikVesti» reports.

According to him, the creation of such a map takes place with grant funds from Denmark through the Anti-Corruption Initiative of the EU, which operates in Mykolaiv.

— They are developing a public website, which will show all the help we received, as well as the places where it was sent, — said the mayor.

He assured that during the period of the full-scale war, Mykolaiv never once used grant funds from the budget of donor organizations.

— They set the technical task themselves, hired the contractors themselves and settle with them themselves, — said Oleksandr Sienkevych about the process of creating the register of humanitarian aid.

It is worth noting that Mykolaiv is the only city in Ukraine that has implemented monitoring of international aid, which partners transfer to the city administration.
