A group of violators was discovered near the border in the Podilskyi district of Odesa region. According to the border service, the 30-year-old suspect tried to smuggle four men of military age across the border to the Transnistrian region of Moldova.
Later, the law enforcement officers identified two more citizens who were probably involved in the offense. All three were informed of the suspicion and preventive measures were taken in the form of detention with bail.
«Clients previously transferred cash in the amount of 4,000 dollars to one of the dealers, for their assistance in illegal transportation across the state border,» the report said.
