Sienkevych: Mykolaiv has handed over more than 5 thousand FPV drones since the beginning of the war

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Mykolaiv has handed over 5,000 FPV drones to Ukrainian units, which were purchased at the expense of the city budget.

Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych said this during a session of the city council on 30 October, a correspondent of NikVesti reports.

«When we transfer drones from the community, from Mykolaiv, we do not specify the units for which we do this. A very large number of units are applying to us — they are now in a queue. Some have already received our help 3-4 times. As of today, Mykolaiv has already handed over more than 5,000 FPV drones and other interesting things. Of course, you will learn about all this after the war. This is being closely monitored,» said Oleksandr Sienkevych.

We remind you that Mykolaiv handed over more than two thousand drones worth 28 million hryvnias to the military in the first six months of 2025.
