In the Kherson region, assistance continues to be paid to people whose homes were destroyed by the war. Since the beginning of the year, residents of the region have filed 366 applications for compensation for damaged housing under the state programme «eVidnovlennia».

According to the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, the relevant commission has approved 166 applications, and the total amount of payments is almost 29 million hryvnias.

According to him, residents have also filed 750 applications for compensation for their completely destroyed homes, some of which have already been paid.

«750 applications have been submitted for destroyed housing. 118 people have received housing certificates for more than 142 million hryvnias,» said Oleksandr Prokudin.

Earlier it was reported that about 35,000 civilian objects were destroyed or damaged in Kherson region due to the full-scale invasion and constant Russian shelling.
