Residents of Mykolaiv region who lost their homes due to the war received ₴1.4 billion to buy new ones

In the Mykolaiv region, residents whose homes were damaged by Russian shelling have been paid more than 456 million hryvnias. And more than a thousand citizens received certificates for more than 1.4 billion hryvnias to purchase new homes.

According to the Mykolaiv Regional Administrative Commission, 8914 applications have been received since the launch of the state programme «eVidnovlennia». In total, the commissions approved compensation of over 646 million hryvnias for more than 5,700 people.

The first payment has already been received by 5,336 applicants, and another 346 have received the second tranche as part of category B repairs. The total amount of these payments exceeded 38 million hryvnias. This type of repair involves a two-stage compensation: 70% is paid immediately, the rest — after confirmation of the use of the first tranche.

In addition, under a separate government resolution, 1,155 people received certificates for the purchase of new apartments — for a total of over 1.4 billion hryvnias. Another 24 people received monetary compensation for independent construction of housing to replace the lost one, in the amount of over 34 million hryvnias.

Earlier it was reported that as of December 2024, residents of Mykolaiv submitted more than 3.6 thousand applications for damaged property under the programme «eVidnovlennias».
