«Russia will pay»: Mykolaiv's losses from the war have already amounted to almost €900 million

As of the end of 2023, the amount of damage caused to the infrastructure of Mykolaiv reached almost 900 million euros.
This is evidenced by the data of the report of the «Russia will pay» project of the KSE Institute, Mayor Oleksandr Sienkovych said in the «Backstage» journalistic project.
«This is an all-Ukrainian project that calculates the damage caused by Russia's aggression. They cooperated with us. Using a special technology, we have calculated losses of almost 900 million euros to date. Actually, this amount can be higher, because some objects cannot be restored — they actually have to be destroyed and rebuilt. So let's see. When we win, then it will be clear for sure,» said Oleksandr Sienkovych.
We will remind you that as a result of hostile shelling of housing, social and energy infrastructure in the Mykolaiv region , losses amounting to 90 billion hryvnias were caused.
