This is according to YC.Market analytics, NikVesti reports.
The largest amount of funds for the purchase of generators was allocated in Kyiv — 182.25 million hryvnias. Also among the leaders were Zaporizhzhia region with 114.87 million hryvnias and Dnipropetrovsk region — 42.73 million hryvnias.
Kyiv region ranked seventh with 3.89 million hryvnias, whilst Odesa region allocated 698,000 hryvnias for the purchase of generators.
The Mykolaiv region was among those with the lowest levels of funding — 374,000 hryvnias. Lower figures were recorded only in the Poltava, Ternopil and Volyn regions.
Analysts note that despite the slowdown in market growth following the energy boom of 2023–2024, demand for generators remains consistently high, particularly in major cities and frontline regions.
In terms of procurement, the largest share of funds was allocated to the needs of the economy, housing and communal services, education and critical infrastructure.
As a reminder, a new batch of generators recently arrived in Mykolaiv from the German Federal Agency for Technical Cooperation. The city received 76 generators of various capacities to support critical infrastructure during potential power cuts.
