The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated nearly ₴100 million to Mykolaiv region for the fitting out of shelters in nurseries and schools

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a decree allocating funds to the regions to ensure safe conditions in educational establishments. Mykolaiv region will receive around 100 million hryvnias.
This is stated in Cabinet Order №239-r, adopted on 18 March, according to NikVesti.
Local budgets will receive funds to equip shelters in institutions providing general secondary education, including military lyceums, lyceums with enhanced military and physical training, and in kindergartens in 2026.
The total amount of the subvention for 2026 is 2,037,227,721 hryvnias. The funds will be distributed among 24 local authority budgets, as well as the regional budgets of Vinnytsia and Lviv regions.
In the Mykolaiv region, two local authorities will receive the grant. 72,784,276 hryvnias have been allocated to the budget of the Berezneguvatka settlement, and 20,474,608 hryvnias to the Mykolaiv city council.
The communities in Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Zaporizhzhia regions will receive the largest amounts of funding for the construction of shelters.
- Zaporizhzhia City Community — 387,389,662 hryvnias.
- Sumy City Community — 323,214,603 hryvnias.
- Lozova City Community (Kharkiv region) — 214 171 843 hryvnias.
- Slobozhanske settlement community (Kharkiv region) — 125,907,001 hryvnias.
- Mena urban community (Chernihiv region) — 99,260,074 hryvnias.
