«I don’t know how they manage it», — Trump on life in Ukraine

US President Donald Trump said he was surprised that people continue to live in Ukraine during the war.

He told reporters this at the White House, according to Ukrinform.

While answering a question about Israel’s military operations in Lebanon, Donald Trump mentioned a conversation he had with a Lebanese man. According to him, the man said that his family lives in Lebanon and has got used to the shelling.

After that, Donald Trump turned his attention to Ukraine and noted that people there continue to live despite the war. He said he does not understand how they manage to do so.

«People are living in Ukraine. I know you’ll think they couldn’t possibly live in Ukraine, but they are living in Ukraine. I don’t know how they manage it, but they are living in Ukraine,» he said.

The US President then returned to the subject of Lebanon and stated that the Hezbollah group is causing serious problems.

It should be recalled that Donald Trump recently rejected Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s proposal to assist US troops and their allies in the Middle East in intercepting drones from Iran.

At the time, the US president publicly criticised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and stated that he should strike a deal with Russia.
