The administration of the Zavodskyi district of the Mykolaiv City Council has announced a tender for services to eliminate unauthorised waste dumps in the district.

This is evidenced by data from the ProZorro public procurement system.

The expected cost of the work is up to 3 million 10 thousand 982 hryvnias. According to the technical documentation, the contractor must eliminate unauthorised dumps in the Zavodskyi district of Mykolaiv by 31 December 2026. The total volume of work is over 22 thousand cubic metres of waste.

This includes not only household waste, but also fallen leaves, tree branches, cut grass, car tyres, and construction debris — concrete, stones, and other materials found in green areas, on sidewalks, or in courtyards. Rubbish left outside container sites is also considered landfill.

The contractor must load the rubbish themselves — either by machine or by hand — and take it to the municipal landfill.

We would like to remind you that in Mykolaiv, schedules for mechanised street cleaning have been developed, which from this year will be carried out by the municipal enterprise ELU Avtodorig. Work is planned to start in January.

As is known, from 1 January 2026, mechanised street cleaning in Mykolaiv was transferred to the municipal enterprise ELU Avtodorig, and part of the work on the removal of dangerous trees was transferred to district administrations.

However, according to a decision by the executive committee of the Mykolaiv City Council, the municipal enterprise Mykolaiv Parks will be responsible for cleaning Soborna Street.

We will remind you that the deputy director of the Mykolaiv Housing and Utilities Department, Ihor Nabatov, said that the mechanised cleaning of the streets of Mykolaiv was transferred to the municipal enterprise ELU Avtodorig because it had «proven itself» in the mechanised cleaning of streets and roads.

In addition, Ihor Nabatov said that the municipal enterprise «Mykolaiv Parks» does not have time to process all requests for the removal of dangerous trees, so part of this work will be transferred to district administrations.
