Community head in Mykolaiv region calls Ochakiv TCR chief a «rear rat»

In the Mykolaiv region, Andrii Dmytrenko, head of the Chornomorka community from the «Servant of the People» party, said that Colonel Gennadii Leurda, head of the 3rd department of the Mykolaiv District Territorial Centre for Recruitment and Social Support, located in Ochakiv, was drinking at work and called the police to check.

He reported this on his Facebook page.

The incident happened in the evening of 19 December. According to Andrii Dmytrenko, Hennadii Leurda was drinking alcoholic beverages at his workplace. In order to record possible violations and conduct a blood alcohol content test, the head of the community called representatives of the Mykolaiv Regional Territorial Centre for Recruitment and Social Support and the police.

«Leurda was drunk at his workplace. He suggested that he go outside. He called the VSP (Military Law Enforcement Service, — note), called the police so that he could take a breathalyser test. Two hours passed, and Mr Leurda, a military officer in the Ochakiv district, did not come out. This confirms the fact that he is intoxicated. After my posts on Facebook and TikTok, my phone's feed is full of messages from people telling me where they were and how much they were drinking», says Andrii Dmytrenko.

The head of the Chornomorka community also claims that one of the law enforcement officers who entered the building was told that the head was allegedly not there, although, according to Andrii Dmytrenko, the officers entered his office.

«There is a fact that we have some people in Ukraine — our boys and girls are dying at the front, and these rear rats are sitting around drinking, breaking the law and forcing their employees to commit illegal acts. He got everyone here at the military registration and enlistment office. There is no reaction from the regional military commissar, he gets calls from people who say he can't find him. We have a good military situation. The regional military commissar cannot find his subordinate», says Andrii Dmytrenko.

The head of the community noted that after the publications on social media, he received numerous messages from local residents complaining about the allegedly inappropriate behaviour of the official.

«I hope for the reaction of the society and the leadership. The situation needs to be resolved», said Andrii Dmytrenko.

At the time of publication, there was no official response from the Mykolaiv Regional Territorial Centre for Recruitment and Social Support.

As a reminder, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Commissariat, Vitalii Kim, said that the mobilisation process in Mykolaiv region is going well, but that fatigue is being felt. According to him, employees from the territorial recruitment and social support centres are moving to combat units.

We would also like to remind you that a foreign national will be tried in Mykolaiv region, who, together with a soldier from one of the local territorial recruitment centres, is suspected of extorting USD 5,000 of non-existent debt from a local resident.

Angelina Jolie's visit to Mykolaiv region

Earlier, NikVesti reported that the motorcade of Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie was stopped by employees of the territorial recruitment centre during her visit to Mykolaiv on 4 November. A video of her in the Voznesensk district recruitment centre was posted on social media.

Later, it became known that Pivdennoukrainsk would check how the video from the recruitment centre with Angelina Jolie ended up on social media.

In a commentary to «UNIAN», representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the man who was detained by the staff of the territorial recruitment centre during Angelina Jolie's visit to Mykolaiv was a reserve officer and had no confirmed grounds for deferring mobilisation.

Later, Politico stated that the American actress and director Angelina Jolie had not warned the Ukrainian side about her visit. According to them, Angelina Jolie secretly crossed the border with Ukraine on foot.
