According to the Department of Economic Development and Regional Policy of the regional military administration, community budgets received 15.6% more than in the same period last year.
This was reported by the Department of Finance of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration in response to a request from NikVesti.
It is noted that from 1 January to 31 October this year, communities' budgets received 1 million 558 thousand 674 hryvnias, which is 15.6% more than last year. The agency attributes this to the revival of domestic tourism and the emergence of new tourist products in communities.
The most popular holiday destinations in 2025 were nature parks:
- Regional Landscape Park «Tylihulskyi»
- Regional Landscape Park «Granite-Steppe Pobuzhzhia»
- National Nature Park «Buzkyi Gard»
No less attention was paid to the regional landscape park «Pryinhulskyi» with geological monuments and historical sites, as well as the Nature Reserve «Yelanetskyi Step» — a virgin steppe area with an eco-trail «Divo-Steppe» and an animal observation area.
The Mykolaiv RMA also noted the Tiligul Estuary, which has natural barriers that reduce the risk of hazardous objects from the sea.
«According to the results of research conducted in 2023-2025, the water here was found to be safe for swimming, with no signs of microbiological or chemical contamination», the department said.
There is also a growing interest in craft locations in the region: farms, lavender fields, and local wineries that offer tastings and guided tours.
Despite security restrictions, tourist attractions in the following communities continued to receive visitors in 2025: Mykolaiv, Kryve Ozero, Pervomaisk, Kobleve, Pivdennoukrainsk, Myhiia, Voznesensk, Nova Odesa.
«There are hotels, museums, eco— and rural estates, recreational parks, historical and cultural monuments and local domestic tourism routes, etc. on their territories», added the department of the Department of Economic Development and Regional Policy of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.
It is worth reminding that in 2024, the communities of the Mykolaiv region received more than 1 million 536 thousand hryvnias of tourist tax, and in 2023 — 897.3 thousand hryvnias. The number of tourists has also increased relatively. In 2023, the region was visited by 80-100 thousand people, and in 2024 — up to 120 thousand.
Tourist season in Mykolaiv region
Due to the military situation, the seaside, including the resorts of Kobleve, Luhove, Rybakivka and Ochakiv, will remain officially closed in 2025. Instead, residents of Mykolaiv are offered an alternative — holidays near rivers and estuaries in safe locations that are being inspected. This is described in the article NikVesti «Mykolaiv Region Prepares Safe Vacation Zones as Beach Access Remains Closed»
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Kobleve community has lost 123.2 million hryvnias in revenue due to the ban on access to sea beaches.
However, there is the Tiligul Estuary in Mykolaiv region, one of the few places where recreation has not been banned since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Every year, this tourist location becomes more and more popular.
In addition, more and more Ukrainians are paying attention to the beaches in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions. It is here that you can organise a holiday by the sea.
