Mykolaiv needs ₴743,000 to replace windows and doors of school №17 — city authorities are looking for a donor

Updated at 13:50. There was a factual error in the news. The amount of planned works has been corrected from 743 million hryvnias to 743 thousand hryvnias.
743.6 thousand hryvnias is needed to replace the windows and doors of the building of Mykolaiv secondary school No. 17 named after Viacheslav Sarazhan, which were damaged by shelling.
The relevant project has been published on the website of the state DREAM system, according to NikVesti.
«The building is technically outdated and not energy efficient. As a result of the project, the building will be thermally sanitised. This will reduce the consumption of thermal (electric) energy and utility costs by 15% to 60%», the project feasibility study says.
The project was initiated by the Department of Energy, Energy Saving and Innovative Technologies of Mykolaiv City Council.
The works include:
- replacement of the existing window units with wooden frames with energy-saving window units made of PVC profile and double-glazed windows;
- installation of an aluminium stained-glass window in the stairwell;
- Arrangement of internal and external slopes;
- installation of new window sills and window sills;
- restoration of wall finishes after dismantling and installation of windows and window sills.

As a reminder, Mykolaiv is going to buy school buses to transport children to educational institutions. 3.9 million hryvnias is planned to be allocated from the city budget in 2025.
CCTV cameras are also gradually appearing in the city's educational institutions. They are being installed in the yards and corridors.
