Resilience Centres operate in seven hromadas in the Mykolaiv region: Mykolaivka, Voznesensk, Kobleve, Kazanka, Kryve Ozero, Berezanka and Vradiivka.

According to Oksana Yelchiieva, Director of the Social Protection Department of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, more than 10,000 people have already used the services of the centres.

«The resilience building service is aimed at maintaining and strengthening the mental health of the population, reducing stress and anxiety, and developing adaptation skills in crisis situations. People are taught stress resilience, first aid for loved ones and the prevention of psychological trauma», she said.

According to Oksana Yelchiieva, such centres are becoming important centres of support in communities, as they combine social assistance, psychological support and opportunities for personal development and recovery.

As a reminder, a Social HUB was opened in Mykolaiv, where people can repair their belongings on their own or with the help of a craftsman, as well as rent tools for repair.

The modular administrative building «Resilience Hub» was planned to be built in Snihurivka. The construction cost was 1.7 million hryvnias.
