The Inhulskyi district of Mykolaiv wants to upgrade its district heating system. More than 395 million hryvnias is planned to be allocated for this purpose. The main goal is to make heating more efficient, reduce energy consumption and improve the quality of services for residents.
This is evidenced by the data in the DREAM ecosystem.
The project involves the reconstruction of two boiler houses. The old equipment will be dismantled: boilers, burners, ventilation, smoke exhausters, pipelines and automation systems. Instead, modern boilers, circulation pumps and automated heat control systems will be installed.
In addition, water softening systems and heat exchangers will be replaced and upgraded, which should extend the life of the equipment and reduce costs.
The total project budget is 395.9 million hryvnias, and the implementation period is about three years. Funding has not yet been approved, and the project is currently under preparation. The contractor is the Utility Company Mykolaivoblteploenergo.
As a reminder, Mykolaiv will not be able to complete the project to build block-modular boiler houses, for which the government has allocated 1.1 billion hryvnias, before the start of the heating season.
This includes the purchase of 18 block-modular boiler houses with a total capacity of over 70 megawatts. This will allow us to have backup heating in case of damage to the thermal power plant. Vitalii noted that several boilers have already been delivered to Mykolaiv and are expected to be connected next month.
In June, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated 1.1 billion hryvnias to prepare Mykolaiv for the next heating season. The city is planning to install new boiler houses to replace the damaged CHP plant. This includes the purchase of 18 modular boiler houses with a total capacity of over 70 megawatts. According to the Prime Minister, this will ensure that the city's homes are heated during the coming winter.
