Mykolaiv is going to purchase school buses to transport children to educational institutions. 3.9 million hryvnias is planned to be allocated from the city budget in 2025.
These funds are to be allocated as a subvention to the budget of Mykolaiv region, NikVesti reports, citing a draft decision published on the city council's website. It is to be considered by city council members at the next session.
Another part of the funds for the purchase of school buses for Mykolaiv institutions should come as a subvention from the state budget. That is, the total amount will exceed 3.9 million hryvnias, but the exact amount has not yet been specified.
However, it is likely to be about 19.7 million hryvnias in subventions that were to be allocated to Mykolaiv Oblast from the state budget this year for the purchase of school buses.
It is known that in the spring, the first six school buses were received by the communities of the Mykolaiv region as part of a public investment project.
Currently, the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration is also exploring options for repairing the destroyed roads used to transport children to schools on a daily basis.
