Minister of Higher Education and Science of Denmark visits Mykolaiv with delegation

From 9 to 11 September, Kristina Egelund, Minister of Higher Education and Research of Denmark, arrived on a working visit to Ukraine. In particular, she visited the city of Mykolaiv.
This was reported by the Embassy of Denmark in Ukraine.
The delegation also included Per Mikael Johansen, Rector of Aalborg University, and Jens Ringsmuse, Rector of the Southern Danish University.

In Mykolaiv, they visited the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, where they spoke with the head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration Vitalii Kim and the mayor of the city Oleksandr Sienkevych. The delegation also met with the company «Nibulon», which shared its experience in overcoming the shortage of technically qualified personnel.

During the three-day visit, the delegation also visited Kyiv and Bucha, where they met with representatives of education, business and civil society, paid tribute to the fallen Ukrainian military and civilians at the Wall of Remembrance on Mykhailivska Square, and signed memoranda of cooperation with the Kyiv School of Economics and the Ihor Sikorskyi Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
In addition, Kristina Egelund also took part in the 5th First Ladies and Gentlemen Summit, where they discussed innovations in education, and in a gala evening in honour of teachers.
