Mykolaiv residents paid almost ₴2 billion in military tax to the state budget

From January to August this year, taxpayers in Mykolaiv region paid 1.9 billion hryvnias to the state budget to support the Ukrainian army.
This was reported by the press service of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Mykolaiv region.
The tax office noted that this year, residents of the region paid 3.2 times more military tax than in the same period in 2024 — 1.3 billion hryvnias more. This tax accounts for 18.1% of all state budget revenues from the region.
As a reminder, from January to August 2025, Mykolaiv region entrepreneurs transferred almost 24.7 million hryvnias to local budgets for licences to sell alcohol, cigarettes, e-cigarette liquids and fuel.
In addition, over the first eight months of this year, businesses in the Mykolaiv region paid more than 2.2 billion hryvnias in value added tax (VAT) on goods produced in Ukraine to the state budget.
