On Thursday, 11 September, a batch of 10 buses intended for the municipal enterprise «Mykolaivpastrans» arrived in Ukraine.
This was reported by a correspondent of NikVesti.
The buses crossed the Ukrainian border from Romania. According to the drivers, the vehicles had been stuck at the border for more than two months before they were imported.
Dmytro Teslenko, the head of the municipal enterprise «Mykolaivpastrans», said in a commentary to NikVesti that the vehicles were purchased under a loan programme from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
«I can't tell you exactly how much the loan is, but it's about 4.7 million. We need to check it more precisely,» said Dmytro Teslenko.
In total, Mykolaiv is to receive 26 buses by January 2026.
In August, the city authorities announced the launch of a new bus route to the Velyka Korenyha neighbourhood.
