At City Hospital №3, surgeons performed a complicated operation to remove a 6-kilogram uterine fibroid that the patient had been carrying for 9 years.

This was reported on the hospital's Facebook page.

The patient had been living with this tumour for 9 years. The mass gradually grew, causing significant discomfort and posing a serious health risk.

The operation was performed by surgeons N. Chasovenko, O. Nikolaienko and S. Pohosova. According to the doctors, such cases are extremely rare in modern practice and require maximum teamwork.
