Despite Russia's 33 large-scale strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure over the past year, Ukraine's energy system remains stable.
This was stated by Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada, the Energy Ministry said.
According to him, the situation in the energy sector is complicated and dangerous due to regular attacks, especially in the frontline regions. However, power engineers continue to restore and strengthen the protection of facilities before the new heating season.
«Today, the system is operating in a stable mode. And you can feel it in terms of providing consumers with the necessary electricity», the Minister said.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported «deliberate strikes» by Russia on energy facilities in Kherson.
