Shelter in an out-of-school education institution repaired in Mykolaiv

In Mykolaiv, a shelter has been arranged in one of the out-of-school educational institutions of the Central District.

This was reported by the Mykolaiv City Council.

It is noted that the shelter is equipped with ventilation, backup lighting, three emergency exits, eight bathrooms, and a medical room.

The 1,340-square-metre space is designed to accommodate 600 people at a time during an air raid alert.

The project was implemented with the support of the International Organisation for Migration, the Danish government and the Department of Housing and Communal Services of Mykolaiv City Council.

A total of four out-of-school shelters have been set up in the city.

We would like to remind you that another shelter was restored in the Soliani neighbourhood in a kindergarten. The shelter can accommodate up to 800 people.
