«For Ukrainians, embroidery is more than just clothing. It is a kind of code of the nation embroidered on the canvas. Patterns, colours, and ornaments have their own meaning, are passed down from generation to generation, and carry historical memory and spirituality. For the employees of «Mykolaiv parks», it was a day when patriotism and professionalism combined in a simple but profound act - to wear an embroidered shirt and show that we are Ukrainians, and we are strong with our unity»," the publication says.

«Today, when our defenders are on the frontline, when cities and villages are experiencing rocket attacks, when millions of Ukrainians have been forced to leave their homes, the embroidered shirt takes on an even deeper meaning. It unites us regardless of borders, languages and circumstances. On this day, our team wears embroidered shirts not only as a tribute to tradition, but also as a sign of gratitude to those who defend Ukraine and as a manifestation of our defiance,» the publication says.

«Today, police officers, like every Ukrainian, are wearing colourful shirts. The patterns are diverse and each one speaks of the history, strength and indomitability of our people. Through the centuries, the embroidered shirt has become a uniform for each of us. It is a special protection for the military and police, for all those who defend Ukraine side by side on combat missions and combat posts», the publication says.
