A shelter was built in a kindergarten in Mykolaiv

Mykolaiv has completed the repair of another protective shelter in a kindergarten. The newly equipped room is designed for 150 children and caregivers and meets safety requirements.

According to the press service of the Mykolaiv City Council, the shelter is equipped with everything necessary for the comfortable and safe stay of children and staff during an air raid. In particular, there is ventilation, water supply, electric lighting, seating and recreation areas, a bathroom, a first aid kit and communication equipment.

«Each equipped shelter is another step towards a safer environment for our children», the statement said.

Earlier it was reported that a safe shelter was completed in one of the kindergartens in Mykolaiv. The newly created space is designed for 250 pupils and staff.
